Walgreens is having fantastic deals on school/office supplies.

Walgreens Visit 1:

2 Reams of Paper - on sale $1.99 each
Always Maxi Pads - on sale Buy 1 Get 1 50% off ($6.59 for 2)
Pilot Pens, pack of 2 - on sale $1.19
Dentyne Gum - on sale 3 for $1.98
Highlighter - on sale 9¢ (I got 3)
Pack of 5 Highlighters - on sale 49¢
Colgate Total Toothpaste - $3.49

I used these coupons:
Free Always Maxi Pads, up to $3.50 (I had 2, and I got the full $7 off, so I got pads for free plus made 41¢)
$1 off Pilot Pens (making them 19¢)
3 for 99¢ Dentyne Gum coupon (making them 33¢ each)
75¢ off the toothpaste
and a $2 register reward

Total with tax: $7.19 (a savings of $27.96)
Plus I got a register reward coupon for $3.50 off my next order from the toothpaste.

Second trip to Walgreens:

Always Maxi Pads - on sale Buy 1 Get 1 50% off ($6.59 for 2)
Colgate Total Toothpaste - $3.49
Dentyne Gum - on sale 3 for $1.98

Coupons:
2 Free Maxi Pads (this time the cashier gave me full value of the pads - pre sale price ($4.39 x 2 = $8.78, so not only did I get both packages for free, I profited $2.19!)
Dentyne Gum 3 for 99¢ (33¢ each)

Total with tax: $2.94 (savings of $15.16)
Plus I got a register reward coupon for $3.50 off my next order.

CVS:
